I have no idea what would be a fair price for it. A flute teacher is asking me to help him sell his Muramatsu flute. For example, a serial number 044922-67 indicates that the SKS was manufactured in 1967. These two numbers indicate the date of manufacture. At the end of the serial number, there is a dash followed by two numbers. Look at an Albanian rifle's serial number. Their website page says: 'Who has information about my Muramatsu flute? Flutes manufactured after April 1995 are all registered in the Muramatsu America database, as long as your flute was purchased through a legitimate dealer or agent, of course. I would get a magnifying glass to read the serial number, then ask Muramatsu.
